Since it's my birthday, I thought I should post an update. I am going to be in a few shows in the coming months.

The first is SK8OLOGY: fine art on skateboards. It will start in August at ISM: gallery in Long Beach (CA). I picked up a blank deck yesterday that I will be painting on. Since I spent a significant chunk of high school with a plank of wood under my feet, I am really excited to be in this show.

I have also been invited to be in a couple of shows at Gallery 1988 in LA. It has been one of my favorite galleries for a while, so I am super excited to get to show there. The first is in October, and the second in the spring. I'll post more info on those in the coming months.

There is one new painting in my gallery, a second is ready to scan, and the third is, well, it is currently a panel on my living room floor, waiting for the third coat of gesso to dry. I am hoping to get it done in the next few days. Wish me luck.

Thanks to the prodding of a certain fellow deviant, I am painting again. I will be posting something in the next couple of days. So if you don't see anything soon, please send me threatening messages until I post it.

So I added a new painting. Okay, so it isn't really new, I painted it a few years ago. But still. It's new to DA. Shocking, huh?

I got "Alla Prima: Everything I Know About Painting" by Richard Schmid for Christmas. It is a great book. I highly recommend it to any and all painters.
