New work
Journal Entry: Tue Apr 8, 2008, 11:14 PM
There is one new painting in my gallery, a second is ready to scan, and the third is, well, it is currently a panel on my living room floor, waiting for the third coat of gesso to dry. I am hoping to get it done in the next few days. Wish me luck.

But I need to find a place to get them done professionally. If you (or anyone else) has a place in the bay area (especially the south bay) that you know of, that would be great.

I slop it on pretty thick, with big ridges from the brush. Then I smooth it out a bit with sandpaper, to get rid of bumps/chunks. Then when using a dry brush, the paint hits the ridges and misses the valleys, and you get a bit more texture to the paint.
